The race is designed to demonstrate and educate the world that Green Hydrogen is a viable energy source now, NOT 30 years in the future to combat climate change.

The race will be around an oval track, where the teams will make their own Hydrogen via photovoltaic cells (solar cells). The colleges will then produce Hydrogen using electrolysis, compress the hydrogen and then refuel their cars as needed. Echoing other endurance events, like Le Mans, it should take between 5-10 days to complete depending on how many solar cells are allotted.

The engineering prowess of each of the top universities will be on full display for the world to see.
